Ximena Casillas is a multi-talented actress, singer, writer and producer. Casillas started performing at the age of two, first at her hometown of Mexico City and later on in the large markets of New York and Los Angeles. Her list of musical theatre credits from back home includes the well-known classics Annie, Grease and Hercules. As a young teenager, Ximena enrolled in the most well-known musical theatre school in Mexico City, Artestudio, which also happens to have its own production company.

It didn't take long for the staff at Artestudio to discover Ximena's talent, and shortly after arriving she was cast in the extremely successful productions, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Mulan, Cats, amongst others.

While participating in these productions, Casillas was also honing her craft and pursuing a career as a triple threat performer by taking voice, ballet, jazz and acting lessons.

At the age of seventeen, Ximena decided it was time for her to take the next step and move to the biggest stage of them all - New York City. Casillas auditioned and got accepted into the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where she was able to complete the Studio Conservatory program in just 18 months. After graduation, Ximena decided to go even further and pursue a BFA in Acting. She moved to Los Angeles and was able to earn her degree at only twenty years of age.

It was natural that Ximena would start receiving job offers soon after graduating and sure enough she was able to participate in the acclaimed short films It´s Time, We Need to Talk, Red Halloween and Outsider. This fall, Ximena will be acting in the feature films: The Long Way and The Life, The Journey, The Struggle which are expected to provide yet another breakthrough in her career.

Aside from performing, Ximena is also a writer and producer. She has recently completed the touching short film Skye which she wrote, produced, and starred in.

The film is already gaining great interest from various sources in the film industry prior to its full release later this fall. In addition to Skye, Ximena  will also be starring in the feature film The Charlie Cure and the mini series Foreign Love.

Ximena is currently managed by Jordan Escoto and represented commercially by  Kim Cunningham at Malibu Artists Agency.
